SMTP does not work

Hi,

My Sage accounting system used to send invoices with no issues and then stopped working for a second time. The first time I had to change the configuration of the SMTP server which had fixed the issue for several months. Now it doesn't send emails again.

I have confirmed that the settings have not changed. The only security option is the torn on SSL/TLS or not with a check mark. The setting are as follows:

Why did it stop working (around end of Nov.) ?

    Try sending me and email with "Account closure" as a subject and "I'd like to close my account please" in the body at my hotmail.com account sid1202

    ctrl-a (select all), ctrl-c and ctrl-v here. This is from the servers them selves and it is in all the 20+ bounced emails I received.

    I've been looking in the forums, and I'm not alone with this issue, unfortunatly, most reporters of the issue don't followup so the case dies

    This may not add any value to the discussion but I can't help noticing this:

    Server at hotmal.com (20.53.203.50) returned...

    Did you copy/paste the bounce mail? Did someone at Microsoft misspelled hotmail?

    It looks like the recipient is refusing to accept mail from the outlook.com server - it could be due to something in the message or just outlook.com mail in general. Because it works with some mail - its either the subject/body text or if sage is adding the invoice as a pdf, the PDF attachement.
