How to stop Outlook 365 retrieving template

I have multiple accounts in my outlook. Something changed on one of the accounts over the past week. When I click on one of the accounts to start a new email, I get the below dialog box which slows my ability to create a new message or see read messages since it hangs up the account for 15-30 seconds. Any advice n how to resolve the matter, including stop retrieving the templates in outlook?

    We are seeing this at our company as well. It just started within the last few months. Seems to be pretty consistent when first accessing e-mail after starting the PC, but then occurs somewhat randomly and infrequently when replying or starting a new message. It is very annoying and makes even the latest PC feel slow as you wait for Outlook to get ready.

    Yeah, none of the suggested solution helps,Not sure if these is actually is an back-end issue, updated, new profile all sort had done nothing is going in the right direction.

    I been having this problem recently and support is leading me to elsewhere and not getting the direction right.

    We are still seeing the same pop up also. We don't use or have any templates. I had assumed its related to our signature as it occurs only when I change the sender address (From), which triggers a change in signature (we have several email addresses in our outlook profile that we send from)

    I now just cancel the pop up when it appears rather than waiting, and everything continues on as it should. So it appears to be superfluous, and would be fantastic if it didn't appear at all. It is not a big thing, but as we are trying to automate and streamline our workflow as much as possible, it is an unnecessary annoyance and mouse click.

    I have this same issue. Just started a week or two ago. Thought it would go away but it is not. It is beyond annoying when it pops up and I have to wait for this.
