My Facebook was hacked and the email address changed without my consent. How do I get it back?

My Facebook was hacked, and the email address was changed to s*****************@hotmail.com and my original two email addresses were deleted from the Profil. How can you help me to log in again, or find out the email address that’s being used for MY Facebook account, so that I can gain it back or take legal actions against the hacker???

Hi, so getting my account back wasn’t that easy. I had to send in my ID twice, to verify it’s me. Trying to log in from a browser that I had precise used helped. While it took some time for them to actually send me a verification code, the hacker put down a second email address. I was able to remove them once I got access again.

I went to the forgot my password page when logging in and clicked no longer have access to these, then I was asked for my ID & I believe to describe the reason for verification. It took like 4 or 5 days to get back into it the account and set up two factor verification, but the sending in my ID & proving it’s me was the way to go, as there’s no direct way of contacting Facebook with this issue.

    how did you delete email address mines keeps asking for password but hacker changed it so i cant delete his and add mines back

    Hey Anna,

    You replied to the no reply email Facebook sends you? I am trying to help a friend with a similar issue and she did receive an email notification from Facebook saying the email/phone number was changed but it came from a no reply email. Clicking "This wasn't me" just prompts to get in using email/phone number which we don't have.

    First I replied to the fb warning email that someone changed email so I provided drivers license pic. I did it several times. I also uninstal latest fb version and downloaded older version. It has option to locate your account different way. It didn't when for me because it would not recognize my location and device. Since I had business ads account I asked some one in agency who works with Facebook to chat and give my page ID and business ID. The chat said that they will escalate this but Noone contacted me. So two days ago I reached out to one guy on Instagram and he said that he week fix it and I will pay after it's resolved. Next day I got email from fb with the code to reset pwd. I was able to login. I set all the security that are possible to setup. So I don't know if this guy fixed it or fb eventually came through after my countless emails. I paid him anyway.

    Hello do you have the Information for the person who helped you hack back in your account? I been having the same problem for some days now. The hacker is scamming for money and posting naked women on my Facebook. I been going in circles and it's ridiculous
