My Facebook was hacked and the email address changed without my consent. How do I get it back?

My Facebook was hacked, and the email address was changed to s*****************@hotmail.com and my original two email addresses were deleted from the Profil. How can you help me to log in again, or find out the email address that’s being used for MY Facebook account, so that I can gain it back or take legal actions against the hacker???

Hi, so getting my account back wasn’t that easy. I had to send in my ID twice, to verify it’s me. Trying to log in from a browser that I had precise used helped. While it took some time for them to actually send me a verification code, the hacker put down a second email address. I was able to remove them once I got access again.

I went to the forgot my password page when logging in and clicked no longer have access to these, then I was asked for my ID & I believe to describe the reason for verification. It took like 4 or 5 days to get back into it the account and set up two factor verification, but the sending in my ID & proving it’s me was the way to go, as there’s no direct way of contacting Facebook with this issue.

    This would help, IF FB would actually give a darn. We've been down every route with my husbands account all day. The couple of times we have been able to recover the account, the hijackers are one step ahead and we don't get far with anything. They are even using his messenger to demand money from one of my sons and harassing me on my messenger.

    Hello, did you happen to send it in a few times? I have sent it in a few times over the past six days.. However, facebook accepts my ID and doesn't send another message back to help recover.. I didn't know if it took several days for an email to be sent back after it was accepted or not.. Thanks in advance!
