My Facebook was hacked and the email address changed without my consent. How do I get it back?

My Facebook was hacked, and the email address was changed to s*****************@hotmail.com and my original two email addresses were deleted from the Profil. How can you help me to log in again, or find out the email address that’s being used for MY Facebook account, so that I can gain it back or take legal actions against the hacker???

Hi, so getting my account back wasn’t that easy. I had to send in my ID twice, to verify it’s me. Trying to log in from a browser that I had precise used helped. While it took some time for them to actually send me a verification code, the hacker put down a second email address. I was able to remove them once I got access again.

I went to the forgot my password page when logging in and clicked no longer have access to these, then I was asked for my ID & I believe to describe the reason for verification. It took like 4 or 5 days to get back into it the account and set up two factor verification, but the sending in my ID & proving it’s me was the way to go, as there’s no direct way of contacting Facebook with this issue.

    Please read every post in this thread. A couple of users have sent ID to Facebook and have regained access to their account.

    It has been 2 weeks......I get the email that my ID was received but I never get the email with the instructions.

    Julia,

    I am having the same issue. Someone deleted my emails and added their own. How did you recover yours? FB just wants to send the recovery codes to the hackers' email and gives no other option.

    It took me 4 days to get back into my account. The hacker had added two email addresses that I have now successfully deleted. Dear Microsoft, please acknowledge that these two email addresses were used to hack my Facebook account.

    Sorry but Microsoft isn't going to give you information on email accounts that don't belong to you.
