My Facebook was hacked and the email address changed without my consent. How do I get it back?

My Facebook was hacked, and the email address was changed to s*****************@hotmail.com and my original two email addresses were deleted from the Profil. How can you help me to log in again, or find out the email address that’s being used for MY Facebook account, so that I can gain it back or take legal actions against the hacker???

Hi, so getting my account back wasn’t that easy. I had to send in my ID twice, to verify it’s me. Trying to log in from a browser that I had precise used helped. While it took some time for them to actually send me a verification code, the hacker put down a second email address. I was able to remove them once I got access again.

I went to the forgot my password page when logging in and clicked no longer have access to these, then I was asked for my ID & I believe to describe the reason for verification. It took like 4 or 5 days to get back into it the account and set up two factor verification, but the sending in my ID & proving it’s me was the way to go, as there’s no direct way of contacting Facebook with this issue.

    I have been dealing with the same issue. I have submitted my ID for verification but never get the email for the next steps to get access back to my account. Going on almost a week now. They changed the email, password and phone number on my account. So frustrating!!

    HOW do I get to the place to upload my ID? I'm not finding ANYTHING that doesn't send me back to the place to enter my email or phone - which the hacker changed! It's a never-ending circle.

    Does anyone know what/where to click to send them my IDs?

    This hacker is scamming my FB friends to send them money for "free" puppies - with a re-homing fee of $200 - and one of my FB friends sent them money! They're having people send them a message in Messenger and then, in MY name, they're scamming them.

    I feel sick about this.
