My Facebook was hacked and the email address changed without my consent. How do I get it back?

My Facebook was hacked, and the email address was changed to s*****************@hotmail.com and my original two email addresses were deleted from the Profil. How can you help me to log in again, or find out the email address that’s being used for MY Facebook account, so that I can gain it back or take legal actions against the hacker???

Hi, so getting my account back wasn’t that easy. I had to send in my ID twice, to verify it’s me. Trying to log in from a browser that I had precise used helped. While it took some time for them to actually send me a verification code, the hacker put down a second email address. I was able to remove them once I got access again.

I went to the forgot my password page when logging in and clicked no longer have access to these, then I was asked for my ID & I believe to describe the reason for verification. It took like 4 or 5 days to get back into it the account and set up two factor verification, but the sending in my ID & proving it’s me was the way to go, as there’s no direct way of contacting Facebook with this issue.

    Ok, I have submitted my ID multiple times and have never been asked reason for verification. I am going on almost 2 weeks and still dont have my account back!!

    Facebook can’t help me change the password, because they tell me to use the hotmail email address to reset my password. But it’s not my email address.

    So basically my Facebook is lost? And everything linked to it too?

    Sorry, but yes. your Facebook account has been stolen.

    Microsoft Support won't help you access the Hotmail account. In their eyes you will be trying to access an email account that belongs to someone else.

    We can't see the addess you posted, we see

    s************** Email address is removed for privacy ***

    but it doesn't matter that it's an outlook.com or Hotmail address.

    This is a Facebook problem. Not an outlook problem.
