My Facebook was hacked and the email address changed without my consent. How do I get it back?

My Facebook was hacked, and the email address was changed to s*****************@hotmail.com and my original two email addresses were deleted from the Profil. How can you help me to log in again, or find out the email address that’s being used for MY Facebook account, so that I can gain it back or take legal actions against the hacker???

Hi, so getting my account back wasn’t that easy. I had to send in my ID twice, to verify it’s me. Trying to log in from a browser that I had precise used helped. While it took some time for them to actually send me a verification code, the hacker put down a second email address. I was able to remove them once I got access again.

I went to the forgot my password page when logging in and clicked no longer have access to these, then I was asked for my ID & I believe to describe the reason for verification. It took like 4 or 5 days to get back into it the account and set up two factor verification, but the sending in my ID & proving it’s me was the way to go, as there’s no direct way of contacting Facebook with this issue.

    Marco, where on your profile do we look? I can't find the email when I click on your profile and have no idea what I'm doing. All these messages are like a glimmer of unreachable help.

    If I understand correctly you can't see the full name of the email that was inserted instead of yours?

    Did you receive an email from Facebook when your password and other information was changed?

    The same thing happened to me and the problem is almost the same as yours. Through that profile, we run a page with over 40k followers. Over 10 years. Our profile also disappeared, but we received emails that someone changed the password and deleted our phone number and email address. What was important to us was that an email from FB also arrived with a new email address that had been inserted.

    The first step was to report to FB that our account was hacked, where they did an identity check (we sent a photo of the ID card) and after that we accessed the account. Unfortunately, we were not able to change anything because there was a new password and a new email address on it, which is why we could not change anything. When the period that fb allowed us to access expired, we no longer had the possibility to log in, but the account became visible again.

    After that, we tried everything to access the account again, but without success, until we reached a man who successfully restored our account.

    From the information he requested, we gave him the full name of the profile and the email address that was inserted instead of ours, and after a day he informed us that the account could be restored.Only after that the payment was made.

    If you want him to try to restore your account, you have a secondary email address on my profile, so write to him.

    Hi, sorry for late answer , I payed him 200 euros. He doesn't charge if he can't do it. If you want , write me email address which is replaced on Facebook . I will give to him and if he can do something I will write you back. Is that ok?

    It took me 4 days to get back into my account. The hacker had added two email addresses that I have now successfully deleted. Dear Microsoft, please acknowledge that these two email addresses were used to hack my Facebook account.
