New outlook - order of email accounts

I have multiple email accounts linked to my outlook login, some for work, volunteering and some personal for me and family.

Since 'upgrading' to the new version, I have loads of 'favourites' which I never use and the order of the accounts is not how I want them. I can see how to change your primary but not how to sort the list to change the order top to bottom. Also can I remove the favourites as I don't use them, or even hide?

It's time for Microsoft to fire UX/UI designers and engineers.

They made terrible mistakes in Windows 11, unforgivable mistakes, since even Windows 95 supported drag and drop in the taskbar.

Now this. They can't possibly be so careless or too lazy.

But then the default login for Outlook has to be the primary account. Thus when you login to Office it will ask for that primary account login?

Yes, those options do not work on the new outlook.

In the new version.
You need to click Settings> Accounts> Manage> set the account you want to be on top as primary. Outlook will restart, and your account will be at the top. That's the only way to move it around. You can repeat that step to move accounts around.

The other option is to remove and re-add the account. I am not sure why They don't allow an easy move.

Just being able to set ONE account as primary is only a part solution. Need to be able to properly order all the accounts and it doesn't allow that and you have to put up with the order in which Microsoft presented them to you on conversion to New Outlook for Windows.

This all works fine in Real Outlook (as in Microsoft Office) but that's always been clunky in operation.
