I have multiple email accounts linked to my outlook login, some for work, volunteering and some personal for me and family.
Since 'upgrading' to the new version, I have loads of 'favourites' which I never use and the order of the accounts is not how I want them. I can see how to change your primary but not how to sort the list to change the order top to bottom. Also can I remove the favourites as I don't use them, or even hide?

Incorrect information for Outlook version 1.2023.411.200 which is the "new" version the OP is asking about. None of the info you scraped from the website works in this version.
Microsoft staff on its Answers forum notoriously give out incorrect information. When called out, they rarely return to address the issue.
Unfortunately no one has answered the actual question because, currently, this version of Outlook doesn't directly have this functionality.
For those desperate for a workaround, it's currently this.
Go to Manage Account, and delete every account in Outlook. Then add each one back in the order you wanted.
You WILL lose your contacts, calendars, tasks, associated with any accounts that don't have these stored remotely like self hosted email. Gmail, Yahoo, etc will be fine.
I really hope this gets fixed soon. What a downgrade, honestly.
Yes this is the correct fix. Passwords are saved and everything is synced quickly. Old Oulook is diefinitely preferrable at the moment, I agree!
