I have multiple email accounts linked to my outlook login, some for work, volunteering and some personal for me and family.
Since 'upgrading' to the new version, I have loads of 'favourites' which I never use and the order of the accounts is not how I want them. I can see how to change your primary but not how to sort the list to change the order top to bottom. Also can I remove the favourites as I don't use them, or even hide?

Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments

What a pain. Outlook really stinks. Do you have another recommendation for email to get away from OUTLOOK and them forcing me to use it.
Well that explains it. That really stinks. It seems Microsoft is in it for the money and not the service of its users. I also know that they are forcing an upgrade to windows 11 thought 2/3 of their customers hate windows 11. Well maybe I'll look for a different email provider because I too had to revert back to Old Outlook.

This only works if you have less than three accounts under the new version of Outlook. Now, after the forced upgrading to v. 1.2025.416.400 (Production) there is no fix for this yet. Since I have seven email accounts total that I manage, the new version won't allow for the preferred email accounts in the Accounts pane to be sorted in the way that I wish for them to be sorted. This is why I eventually downgraded back to the old version Outlook as well.

Unfortunately, until anti-trust laws are expanded to better manage Microsoft as a monopoly they, according to basic Economics, are going to act like a monopoly.
!!!!!SHAMELESS POLITICAL PLUG!!!!!: If voters would do as our forefathers intended for us to do and educate themselves on the issues and vote the candidates character and instead of on what "seems good" from an uneducated perspective or on how "cool or "awesome" a candidate seems things like this would be a lot less likely to happen.
Does not work for New Outlook
Kind of funny. 2025 And Outlook is getting better and better. Just not the 'new' outlook. Gradually moving away to UBS anyway. You never know ehen the real thing is dead and only new mickey mouse level email is left for the children.
