New outlook - order of email accounts

I have multiple email accounts linked to my outlook login, some for work, volunteering and some personal for me and family.

Since 'upgrading' to the new version, I have loads of 'favourites' which I never use and the order of the accounts is not how I want them. I can see how to change your primary but not how to sort the list to change the order top to bottom. Also can I remove the favourites as I don't use them, or even hide?

    Read every post up to this one on page 2. This is the first thing that has worked for me. Thank you! I was this " close to reverting to the old outlook because this irritated me so badly. Luckily I only have 2 accounts, so this sorted it.

    For the new Outlook, right click the email you want to show on top, and then Manage accounts. You can change the email you want on top to be the primary email and it will close Outlook and reset it. So far, that's all I can figure out. It worked for me, but I am still working on how to arrange the other 2 in the order that I want them in. Hope this helps

    Right click on unwanted favorites and they can be removed. Dragging email accounts to sort in a different order doesn't work for me. What works well for me is to drag inboxes for the different accounts to favorites. They can be dragged there to the desired order.

    I was able to sort of solve this for the new Outlook.

    1. In the settings (gear icon - top right)
    2. Email Accounts
    3. Local the email account you want to be first and click - Manage
    4. Select 'Set as primary account'

    This will put this account at the top.

    You can get rid of the 'Favourites' folder by expanding the field, right clicking each file and selecting 'remove from favourites.' Once they are all removed the section goes away.
