Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
I struggled with this for a while and couldn't find an easy fix in the new outlook. I ended up reverting back to the old outlook, sorting my accounts order by simply 'dragging and dropping' and then switched back across to the new outlook. So far it has kept the accounts in the desired order. Not all updates are upgrades and the worst kind is when the update takes away simple functionality. You'd think Windows has been around long enough that surely by now, the Microsoft engineers could get the email app to work as well as it needs to without the need to roll out new versions, let alone force users to adopt the new platforms. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for development. I'm quite happy to spend dollars on changing out hardware as often as required to get the benefits of faster processing, more storage etc, but I was quite happy using Windows 3.1
