New outlook - order of email accounts

I have multiple email accounts linked to my outlook login, some for work, volunteering and some personal for me and family.

Since 'upgrading' to the new version, I have loads of 'favourites' which I never use and the order of the accounts is not how I want them. I can see how to change your primary but not how to sort the list to change the order top to bottom. Also can I remove the favourites as I don't use them, or even hide?

Thanks

Bill

How can MS take such a HUGE step backwards with this software.

I have one account but a number of inboxes that sit under the Shared with me folder. In new Outlook I cannot order these inboxes to make it easier and cannot add any of those inboxes to my favourite so I can see at a quick glance if there is anything in there that needs addressing.

I remember a number of months back it said this feature was coming soon but honestly why is it taking so long for a basic feature?

I had the same issue... when I reverted to the earlier version a pop-up said " New Version of Outlook does not support reorganizing email accounts. It is something they are working on"

side note I did not use Outlook but Windows Mail. They are attempting to convert all to the "NEW Outlook" by trying the new OutLook. Other than not being able to reorganize email accounts, I could not find an easy way to refresh the email accounts either.

14/3/24 - cannot do this in the new Outlook still. I was forced to move to it due to the old outlook not authenticating GMail accounts correctly.

Outlook on Mac works fine, you can re-order them no problem.

I have 6 email accounts in there and removing and re-adding is not great.

I will wait for a fix.

    Adrian.
