Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
I found a way of bringing a preferred email account to the top of the folder view!
If you go into settings (the cog on the title bar)
go to accounts
go to email accounts
go to manage account
click on "set as primary account"
then save the setting and close the settings window
(it might say "setting things up" for ages here... and ask you to send whatever level of diagnostic data you prefer...
close outlook (new)
reopen outlook (new)
Aaaaand.... for me at least... the account that I wanted at the top - is at the top!
If you don't like the "favourites" account in the list you can hide that too. (right click and remove the favourite folders in there that you don't want, and add the ones you do)
I'm not sure if you can do this multiple times (start with the one you want at the bottom, then work your way up through your accounts til you get to the one you want at the top maybe?)... It might work without having to remove and re-add accounts...
Report back and see if this solves your issues please - or if you find a better way...?!
