New outlook - order of email accounts

I've not found a way to resolve it yet, but I have added each of my inboxes to my favorites area, and I can reorder those however I like...

I also have sub-folders that change each semester for courses I'm teaching at that time, so I add those to favorites to get to them quickly. Adding them to favorites, combined with automatic routing rules has made my life so much easier. Now, my favorites bar will show me immediately when I have an email from a student in that course. (Granted, this doesn't work if the student does not adhere to the subject line indicator on which the rule is based, but that's rare, and even if they do, it still shows up as an unread in the general mailbox).

Now if I could just rename the accounts so they don't all say Inbox (something @ place . com).

Are we talking about NEW Outlook 365 for office? I see the 3 dots and they offer me the following:

Add Account

Manage Account

Add new folder

I see no ability or option to rearrange the order of the accounts.

In new outlook for ios---go to settings--> accounts--> edit. You see the 3 lines at the end of each account. You can then reorder the accounts. Click Done and then restart outlook.

Yep, agree with you on the bring 1 account to the top. It's the other 6 that I want to wiggle too that are the problem.

Thanks. This is something MS should have set up from the git-go. That and how to import your old emails sitting in the "old" outlook to the "new" outlook. I have business records in there that I refer to for current actions and I don't have a way to get that information.

Also, you can't take an email from the top email in your list and try and move (drag.drop) it to another email account. It won't let you do that. If you get the email in a gmail ID and try and move it to a comcast ID, You can't. That's another thing that the old email will do that the new won't.
