Using classic Outlook for Windows in business environments
Incorrect information for Outlook version 1.2023.411.200 which is the "new" version the OP is asking about. None of the info you scraped from the website works in this version.

I have multiple email accounts linked to my outlook login, some for work, volunteering and some personal for me and family.
Since 'upgrading' to the new version, I have loads of 'favourites' which I never use and the order of the accounts is not how I want them. I can see how to change your primary but not how to sort the list to change the order top to bottom. Also can I remove the favourites as I don't use them, or even hide?
Thanks
Bill

Nope this is not for the new version, but thanks anyway
Was this ever solved? It is driving me nuts, as I have to scroll up and down in the left pane.

This seems to be the advice given to change the order of email accounts in the new Outlook but it is not working for me. The account name when clicked and held is not highlighting and cannot be moved. Surely, there has got to be an alternative. Help, please. TIA
I have added all my inboxes to favourites which has helped a bit but not ideal not to be able to reorder them.
I did note if you remove them all and then add them back in the order you wanted they were listed correctly, annoying you cant just drag and drop.
It also took me a little while to sort my calendars out but I think I have everything working as I need now except I noted I can't drag appointments across calendars anymore when you did not create the event.
