I have a new MBP M1, with fresh Monterey. I moved my data with the assistant from the old MBP, I have all the letters in Outlook (v15.46), but search in Outlook not works, it gives a "No results found" message in all folders. Old methods for reindex Spotlight is not working (eg. add and remove Main Profile to Spotlight). How can I solve this problem? Thanks

Today I deleted the Main Profile, remove all mail accounts, and made a new profile, and add a mail address. But the search still not works.

Same Problems!! Status and tried work around but again Search not working:

    • 2020 Imac 21" (6) Core I5, 32 gigs Ram - 1TB flash and 1 TB SSD (so this is a very fast machine)
    • Office 0365 running outlook 16.56
    • Monterey upgrade 6 Jan 2022
    • Unable to search Outlook
    • Completed process to reindex computer via the spotlight method
    • This did not work!!
    • Two days ago - Removed each of (5) email accounts from Outlook. Then added each one back individually and waited 2 days with computer and outlook on to index
    • Today, still cannot search.
    • Note. My 2013 Macbook Pro still works fine.

    What is the fix??

Sadly there is absolutely no way a company like ours will use a Beta for anything to do with email. We will have to file an enterprise ticket with Microsoft. Hopefully Microsoft understands that for companies using exchange this is completely unacceptable. There are many enterprise companies that have a mix of Mac and Exchange and I would expect any decent test automation to have picked up such a thing. Doesn’t imbue me with confidence that there aren’t massive holes in this release.

Using the Beta channel in Autoupdater (and thus the beta version) worked to resolve the Outlook search issue.

Now Microsoft, please fix the Outlook reminders issue! After every restart, I have to literally rush to turn off reminders - or else the app quickly goes into swirly cursor freeze as soon as the reminders appear. I need my reminders!

    ITS WORKING :-)

Set Microsoft AutoUpdater to the beta channel - Then update to the latest version of outlook

    Thanks Zahid!

Installing the latest beta version of Outlook fixed my search issue and the address book seems to be working fine.
