Hi,

I have been receiving an email about resetting my Microsoft password so far today i received 6 messages with the code to reset. This email has not been open in awhile, however i do have it linked to my phone for easy accessibility to emails.  How do i get the emails to stop.

I also have been receiving emails from Outlook/hotmail all day to my GMAIL, providing me a password reset code. I never requested a password reset, nor did I forget my password. This is the 5th reset code I've received today from Outlook.

Frustrating trying to get a hold of someone from Support team.

I am getting these emails every few hours now, its tried to sync from Cameroon, Vietnam, China, United states so something is going on. Constant password reset codes.

Yup same here. Getting these since last week.

I am searching through my recent activities, but I only see my own sessions.

I had the same issue. It was my gmail account i changed the recovery email from @googlemail.com to @gmail.com and this fixed it for me.

Try this is if you are using a googlemail account for recovery.

I too have been getting some of these emails. I've made sure that 2-Factor is set and I changed my password after the first email that I received. I've checked my security settings and don't see any attempts at logging in. Weird...

Would love to hear more from Microsoft about this issue. The emails feel like a phishing scheme the way they show up unsolicited. I have NOT clicked on anything in the email fearing it is spoofed and log in via the main microsoft site and changed my password just in case (something quite strong). But then I keep getting these emails. Is my account compromised or not?!?! The funny part is I never use my hotmail account anyhow. I check it once a year at most and it has many thousands of unread emails. I only keep it because microsoft used to require you to use their inferior email system instead of gmail/etc.
