Hi,
I have been receiving an email about resetting my Microsoft password so far today i received 6 messages with the code to reset. This email has not been open in awhile, however i do have it linked to my phone for easy accessibility to emails. How do i get the emails to stop.

If you go to your microsoft account, security, security settings. And in there change alert settings. You can then turn off notifications. Which is a bit risky but until its sorted preferable.
I have also had about 12 emails " gmail " in the past week regarding password reset for my Microsoft account. I havent requested to change it.
The email from the sender looks quite legit so not sure what its all about

Add me to the list. I have gotten 4 requests in the last hour. And i get several a day for at least the last week. A few failed login attempts from China, but far less attempts than password reset requests. Gonna try some of the suggestions. The failed attempts just have the alias with no domain.
I also similar IMAP sync attempts from the same countries.
I really advice Microsoft to add this password reset email into the account activity overview including the feature we have on other suspicious activities. Then at least it becomes less interesting for those executing these attempts.
