Hi,
I have been receiving an email about resetting my Microsoft password so far today i received 6 messages with the code to reset. This email has not been open in awhile, however i do have it linked to my phone for easy accessibility to emails. How do i get the emails to stop.

No its the same account. Makes no difference as far as your email is concerned.
I just did it myself yesterday and I gotta give credit to Microsoft, it was all pretty seamless. They could make the process a little more obvious though.

I am getting these e-mail also. I checked my access page and there are numerous attempts from different countries via an IMAP protocol from multiple IP addresses. It said they are trying an "Automatic Sync". These attempts are happening 2 to 3 times a day. You need to see if the IP addresses are being spoofed or if they are coming from a VPN because this is getting very annoying. With all of these people complaining you need to do something.

Just done this and changed it to my Gmail account. Lets see if it works.
Even better is rewriting your existing gmail address by adding random points in between. For example ******@gmail.com. Gmail ignores these points so you'll still get reset mails but "they" will not guess you recovery mail ;)
