Hi,

I have been receiving an email about resetting my Microsoft password so far today i received 6 messages with the code to reset. This email has not been open in awhile, however i do have it linked to my phone for easy accessibility to emails.  How do i get the emails to stop.

Correct me if I am wrong but if remember correctly you need to fill in the 4 last digits of your tel number before you are able to get the message. I received the message, so that should only be possible if they know the last 4 digits. Therefor my assumption that they know my full number.

If this is the case it would tie in with what I've been experiencing as I stated above.... I keep getting these calls where my phone rings once or twice and stops without me answering. Essentially leaving a missed call. The calls are from Ghana and Zimbabwe

No, I removed it two months ago because every time I sent a code to it the code fails for some reason .

I started getting the same thing both recovery emails and telephone number had to remove everything from the account and use a random one.

Microsoft needs to reply on this there must have been a security leak.
