In the latest update of Outlook for Mac I can no longer see a count of the number of emails in my inbox. Is there a way to get it back?

Having the inbox count in the bottom left of my screen was a constant stabilizer for my daily work flow. I get hundreds of emails a day and need to have some gauge of how in control/out of control my day and week is.
Please bring this aspect back.
This is crazy! Two years of requests for a simple functionality that has been in place for years. Microsoft please fix this!
I agree, not a good solution at all. This might be the only email client that doesn't show how many emails are in the folder. But if you're interested in cloud services...
Please restore the number of emails in the inbox on the new version. I am loving the new version but will be reverting back to the old version. This is a vital function in outlook to manage emails. Cant wait for next release when this is included :)

Personally I've also sticked to the classical version since months, just because this indicator is not available. It's really crucial to know how many messages you have left in your inbox (not just how many are not read). Perhaps other people are doing differently. but that's the way I prefer and I don't see why the UI should tell me to do differently...
