this is my view in the "Day" tab. the blue time bar has disappeared. the one that advances with the current time.

In the week view, the blue line is there but it extends across previous days but not to the current one or future dates.

anyone know how to fix this?

I agree with the comments of the previous posters regarding the Time Indicator Bar.

I landed at this site after a google search to try to find options to modify the Bar.  The most important benefit of the Time Indicator Bar is to quickly understand where you are in your schedule on the current day.

For a better visual prompt - please consider extending the Bar across the current day's column.  Detail on specific time is all about current day - not previous days ==> so your current visual for the Time Indicator Bar is not delivering that.

+1.  I have outlook on 2 machines, one shows this 'new' indicator the other for some miraculous reason still shows the old blue bar.. which I much prefer.   I have no idea how I dodged this update on one machine but not the other, both machines are on the same domain under the same patch policies..

I'm sure my luck will not last.

+1. This is awful UI. The indicator is rounded and without a definitive 'point' meaning it's extremely hard to read exactly where you are.

The original line was thin allowing accuracy. ie. Do I have 3 minutes till my next appointment or 3 minutes left on my current. The current doesn't give indication to a useful granularity.

You also have to scan to the left border to find it and it doesn't jump out.

In summary it's almost useless!! Bring back the correct clear, intuitive and discernible line!

Oh, and just as an additional kick in the teeth - i found that the current time line/bar works perfectly and as expected in the WEB based outlook... so there is absolutely no way this 'new' current time line/bar is a new feature... it's a BUG in the desktop version and a real real school boy programming bug at that.

It also works perfectly on the Android Outlook App - current time line as expected anchored to the little dot. (Your response triggered me to check).
