Outlook Calendar Current Time bar has disappeared

this is my view in the "Day" tab. the blue time bar has disappeared. the one that advances with the current time. 

In the week view, the blue line is there but it extends across previous days but not to the current one or future dates. 

anyone know how to fix this?

    I'm sorry - this is a new 'current time' line !!! ... I cannot accept that - this must be a BUG they can't be bothered to fix.

    Why on earth would you have an active timeline for the past ... it makes no logical sense.

    It is so annoying to have this now, compared to what it was before ... as expected, on the current day.

    I am really sorry, but this is such a pathetic bug MS are trying to call a feature.

    And also just spotted, that the Current Time Bar is correct if you display in Schedule View, i.e. it displays on the current day.

    Thereby proving it is a bug - doesn't display correctly on day/week view, but does display correctly on the schedule view.

    Such a schoolboy programming bug !!!

    Hi Diane,

    even since i know that the new current time indicator is intentional, i have a hard time getting used to it, because it is not intuitive.

    What is the reason for the current time line extending into the past? Seeing at one glance, what meetings took place at the current time of day, but on past days is not my first interest when looking at my calendar.

    For me it continues to be irritating and looks more like a bug than a feature...

    My suggestion: make the current time indicator design a setting to choose from the old and the new (and in the future maybe more) styles.

    Is there any documentation about that new time indicator?

    For me the UX looks more like a bug, rather than a new feature. On Mondays, the bar is not visible at all, while on the following days the bar is offset by one day. I attached a screenshot of Outlook for OSX and outlook.live.com, which in my opinion, looks more the way it should be.

    Hi Stranz,

    That is the new 'current time' indicator (and can't be 'fixed'). If you use the week or work week view, it will extend over the earlier days in the week, but not into today.

    You can leave a suggestion at uservoice - i did not find one complaining about the new design- you can post one of your own.

    I also found one that likes the new design but wants an arrow instead of a dot and this one wants a dot on both sides of the current day.
