Outlook Calendar Current Time bar has disappeared

this is my view in the "Day" tab. the blue time bar has disappeared. the one that advances with the current time. 

In the week view, the blue line is there but it extends across previous days but not to the current one or future dates. 

anyone know how to fix this?

    I'm now working for some months with the new Office Desktop app. Everytime I do something with the calendar I see the bar - which is more/stronger visible than the current day background color - and I'm looking at the wrong day.

    I would also leave a vote for a change.

    Please make the line at least including the current day.

    Just got this update at work too and even after seeing that nothing has changed in a year, I still want to leave my vote here that this should be changed! It's confusing and annoying!

    This is just a horrible, un-intuitive design choice. This is not usable at all. I am in a week view most of the time, and since my week starts with a Monday, I can't find the dot as there is no line whatsoever (there is no past to extend to)! I guess it's time to play find the half-dot.

    THis is not a new design - its a bug. Microsoft refuses to acknowledge the bug.

    The bar extends into the past so you only see the right hand end ball / half of it.  Look at a multi day view.
