Outlook Calendar Current Time bar has disappeared

this is my view in the "Day" tab. the blue time bar has disappeared. the one that advances with the current time. 

In the week view, the blue line is there but it extends across previous days but not to the current one or future dates. 

anyone know how to fix this?

    they really screwed this up.  Who thought this is better than what they had...

    We do see this now also in Semi-Annual channel Outlook 2008 (Build 13127.21216) in our corporate environment. As I can see in this thread, this must have been around in monthly channel for months now. We expected to be safe from such glitches in Semi-Annual channel, but as it seems, such issues still make it into our corporate productive environment.
    The former current time indicator was working fine. But that new black line with black bubble shows on the previous day. This is mostly useless, the only thing you see is the black dot on the current day. The line would be much more helpfull and accurate.

    Thanks Mark - so that makes it even worse ... that the Program Manager of their Outlook team, Scott Walker, actually promotes this as 'a Time Indicator Barstretching to the current day and time, and shaded past days to increase the focus on today.
    What a crook of #@*& - whoever designed this as a feature should be be fired.
    If this is a feature, then what makes it worse is the other platforms (web, mobile) and Schedule view ALL show the time indicator bar as it should be and as it WAS ... on the actual ACTIVE DAY... then they have only part implemented the feature. Unbelievable !!!

    If i wasn't forced to use this due to company policy, i would ditch Outlook for a product that works as a decent time manager ... i feel that strongly about this BUG they call a feature.

    Hello Diane and Michael and Microsoft,

    The current time indicator in the latest update is extremely annoying. It's totally off putting. It's just sitting static at Monday 10am and I'm at 10.29 on Tuesday. This is a horrendous, nightmarish bug - I keep trying hovering over it and clicking and dragging desperately trying to put it at the right time and day and it won't budge. It does the complete opposite of helping you focus on work.
