My Microsoft account is locked with Compliance Lock since for 11 days now, with no end in sight.

I get the following message when I try and log in:

Your account has been locked.

We've detected some activity that violates our Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account.

Unlocking your account

To unlock your account, you'll need some additional assistance. Navigate to "aka.ms/compliancelock" and we'll get you to the right place.

I have completed the Account Reinstatement form ((https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/concern/AccountReinstatement)) and got this reply:

This is an automated message to let you know we have received your inquiry regarding your Microsoft account. Your request number is xxxxxxxxx and we will get back to you as soon as we are able. Please do not submit additional requests as this will add additional volume and only slow our response.

We sincerely apologize for this delay as we know this means you may not have access to your account. We are working to resolve your case and will update you as soon as we have additional information.

All duplicate requests will be closed and responses will be sent on the original escalation.

Sincerely

Microsoft Customer Protection

I still haven't heard back. I can't access my email/contacts/calendar/OneDrive and it's very frustrating. I have important emails I cannot access. There is supposed to be contact within 24 hours – it is now 11 days!

    Hi,

If you're experiencing a different issue or error as the original poster, I would encourage you that you post a new thread here.

This is to avoid confusion in the thread.

    Thanks.

    <<

I paid for the service earlier of this month with family package by assuming it will help me and my family make backup files in OneDrive and especially OneDrive Vault. Sadly, I can't access it after few weeks of subscription. It is very frustrating since I trusted the service will not let me down.

Even I can’t logon to this forum. So, I have to create another ID just to write this issue here.

Just to recap the present situation

You can login to your account this way! https://account.microsoft.com/account

You can use e-mail service and other MS services!

You can log in to this MS community!

In what situation do you get the message “locked account” and what does it say?

    Please let me know

    Janne

Since we don’t know the reason for locking your account the only way to open it is to follow MS instructions.

Filling out a form I suppose includes information about your e-mail conversation. Since you can’t access it, I suggest you contact a few persons and ask them to give the information needed. Could be e-mail address and accurate text in the subject. That might help MS to automatically investigate your information

Please let me know the result of your action or if you need some more ideas.

    Best regards

    Janne
