My Microsoft account is locked with Compliance Lock since for 11 days now, with no end in sight.

I get the following message when I try and log in:

Your account has been locked.

We've detected some activity that violates our Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account.

Unlocking your account

To unlock your account, you'll need some additional assistance. Navigate to "aka.ms/compliancelock" and we'll get you to the right place.

I have completed the Account Reinstatement form ((https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/concern/AccountReinstatement)) and got this reply:

This is an automated message to let you know we have received your inquiry regarding your Microsoft account. Your request number is xxxxxxxxx and we will get back to you as soon as we are able. Please do not submit additional requests as this will add additional volume and only slow our response.

We sincerely apologize for this delay as we know this means you may not have access to your account. We are working to resolve your case and will update you as soon as we have additional information.

All duplicate requests will be closed and responses will be sent on the original escalation.

Sincerely

Microsoft Customer Protection

I still haven't heard back. I can't access my email/contacts/calendar/OneDrive and it's very frustrating. I have important emails I cannot access. There is supposed to be contact within 24 hours – it is now 11 days!

    Hi KanataSparxx,

I've sent you a private message, kindly click on this link to view it.

    Thanks.

    Regile Reb,

is there anything you can do with my case? This is crazy that i am locked out for no reason.

On Thursday Aug 20^th^, for some reason I was no longer able to sign into my account with Microsoft. I have a Microsoft 365 home account for me and 5 other people.  The other accounts are still valid with Microsoft, but they have shut down and locked me out of my primary account

On Friday, Aug 21, I submitted a request to unlock my account at this URL https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13997/microsoft-account-locked-private,  and heard no response.  On Thursday, Aug 27, I submitted another request, and later got the response below in RED.

I have no idea what I could have possibly done.  I checked the code of conduct, and I haven’t violated any of the codes.

How can I re-instate my account,  or am I forever banned from using Microsoft products with my primary email address?

What happens with the 5 people who I have shared the account with when it expires in Jan 2021.  They are part of my “Microsoft family” and sharing of Microsoft Apps.

How do I find out what the issue was?  I certainly don’t want to repeat it in the future.

Obviously being unable to log back into my account, means any information only on the web, and not synced on my computer, is forever lost to me if I can’t get back in. is Additionally, I can't use any Microsoft office products, with this locked user id, etc.

I would appreciate any help you can give me.

Subject: SIR1964xxx - Concern Microsoft Services Account reset:I cannot access any Microsoft services using my Microsoft account

    Hi,

Microsoft disabled access to the account due to a serious violation of the Microsoft Services Agreement https://www.microsoft.com/servicesagreement/default.aspx#3_codeOfConduct.

As stated in the Microsoft Services Agreement, you will no longer be able to access any Services that require a Microsoft account.

For any subscriptions associated with the account, Microsoft will immediately cease charging the credit card on file for recurring charges.
