Microsoft (Hotmail) Account Locked (Compliance Lock)

My Microsoft account is locked with Compliance Lock since for 11 days now, with no end in sight.

I get the following message when I try and log in:

Your account has been locked.

We've detected some activity that violates our Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account.

Unlocking your account

To unlock your account, you'll need some additional assistance. Navigate to "aka.ms/compliancelock" and we'll get you to the right place.

I have completed the Account Reinstatement form ((https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/concern/AccountReinstatement)) and got this reply:

This is an automated message to let you know we have received your inquiry regarding your Microsoft account. Your request number is xxxxxxxxx and we will get back to you as soon as we are able. Please do not submit additional requests as this will add additional volume and only slow our response.

We sincerely apologize for this delay as we know this means you may not have access to your account. We are working to resolve your case and will update you as soon as we have additional information.

All duplicate requests will be closed and responses will be sent on the original escalation.

I still haven't heard back. I can't access my email/contacts/calendar/OneDrive and it's very frustrating. I have important emails I cannot access. There is supposed to be contact within 24 hours – it is now 11 days!

    I managed to escalate my case as I have a business account with MS.

    I got a phone call advising they had originally blocked my account due to me using email aliases , even though they were all my surname lol.

    Anyway, they unlocked it after 3 months.

    My account has been locked and It has a lot of data of mine. Also my laptop has been locked through bitlocker. Kindly help me in unlocking that account. Please Agent reply me...

    HI DemontWillians, 

    I'm trying to get my case solved by BBB,  but they're a little lost I think. I'm being routed to the same Microsoft supports I already tried before in circles. 

    If I could get your case to them maybe they can use the same strategy to my case. I had my account locked by violation of the terms (without any explanation warning or cause too) - I have 200Gb of photos on the Onedrive account that I was paying for (yes facepalm). I was naive, I had this account for 20years and never had any problems so just kept using it for storage. Now I lost 10years of photos without a copy.  

     I don't know if you can share your BBB complaint link here, but that would be very useful.  I'm with at hannarafa profile on twitter and the same on Instagram. They don't let me there my email here but it's the same (hannarafa) at gmail com.

    Hi Jon....It has been 4 months now from my Locked-Down........no hope in sight!....A friend said it cost her 350.00 dollars to get reinstated.....It was on my end...just that outside hackers were getting into my e-mail....so usually I would be asked to change my password....but NOOOOOO!!!! Thanks for your help!
