in the "Type here to search" box on the Task Bar type > cmd   >choose run as an administrator.. paste the commands into Command Prompt box.

Hit the enter key on the keyboard after pasting each command line.

cd "C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun"

and then

officec2rclient.exe /update user updatetoversion=16.0.12827.20470

UPDATE:

Do nothing, wait.   See:

Microsoft is automatically propagating a fix.....  I am seeing it automatically patch some of my clients i had not fixed yet, that complained earlier..

Hey People. This worked for me: I uninstalled KB4565483, uninstalled Office365 then reinstalled it. I'm able to launch and have Outlook successfully remain open. So far, I've rebooted, launched and had Outlook remain open multiple times.

Hopefully this works for others out there.

    Cheers!

    One major problem for me:

I get the classic "the system cannot find the path" error

    Upon checking,

    I do have a directory called C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared,

but it does not contain "ClickToRun",

    so the

    solution cannot be applied.

    All suggestion most welcome

(Outlook 365 on Win10 here, worked fine before today's patch)
