I like the look of the new Outlook for Mac. But the functionality of the Calendar seems to have lost a lot of things compared to the old Outlook. I can't Option-drag a meeting to create a copy on another day or a new time (it's a standard way of doing things on a Mac and worked in the old Outlook) I can't drag an event to another calendar in the section at left to move this event to this calendar. When creating a new event, there's no option to change the reminder time for the event. I have to create the event, save it, open it again, go the event options, change the reminder and I still have to click on two buttons to save the change. Way too much trouble. Am I missing a magic option somewhere? I'm working from home on a Mac, connected to an enterprise version of O365 at my university.

It's been TWO YEARS since this answer. WHEN will this function be implemented in the new Outlook?? It's a horrible waste of time recreating meetings, this was an immensely useful feature, why would you remove it? And why would you FORCE users to the new version if it isn't feature complete?? Seems like yet another Microsoft blunder, something us Mac users are well too used to. SUPER LAME MICROSOFT!

I've found a solution! Ok, it's a workaround but it works. Finally I can copy appointments in the new Outlook for Mac. Select the appointment Go to menu "Appointment" » "Move" » "Copy to Folder..." Don't change the calendar, use the source calendar and simply clicl "OK" Finish. There is no mouse support as you desired, but with ⇧ + ⌘ + C and click on "OK" it's a handy solution. But nevertheless: Its embrassing, MICROSOFT, not to provide such a basic functionality and ignoring the users voices. Do you have statistics over usage of the new Outlook's calendar? Hard to believe...

One year leater, no change... Still not possible (such a basic requirement)... Is this again Microsoft handling the "incredible" user experience for their customers (as usual)?... Or is UX (or the customer) not important to MS?... As usual...

Seems like a conscience descision on Microsoft's part to make a crappy version for Apple, so people might use Windows instead. I'm guessing any number of MS developers could implement copy / pasting of meetings in less than a day.

Hi Christian,

Thank you for posting your issue on Microsoft Community. There are several features that aren't yet available in the new Outlook experience and some known issues such as Mail and events can't be moved or copied between accounts. However, our product team is investigating this issue in the new Outlook for Mac. You may switch back by turning off the New Outlook switch to avoid this issue.

I've found a solution!

1. Select the appointment
