I like the look of the new Outlook for Mac. But the functionality of the Calendar seems to have lost a lot of things compared to the old Outlook. I can't Option-drag a meeting to create a copy on another day or a new time (it's a standard way of doing things on a Mac and worked in the old Outlook) I can't drag an event to another calendar in the section at left to move this event to this calendar. When creating a new event, there's no option to change the reminder time for the event. I have to create the event, save it, open it again, go the event options, change the reminder and I still have to click on two buttons to save the change. Way too much trouble. Am I missing a magic option somewhere? I'm working from home on a Mac, connected to an enterprise version of O365 at my university.

Sorry, hadn't realized that desktop Macs had right-click mice these days. I'm betting many more track pads in use than mice, but thanks for the update. Just a note, when I control click on a calendar appointment on my MacBook Pro, there is no "Move" option in the resulting pop-up menu (nor anything else that might allow one to duplicate a calendar appointment). Maybe we are using different versions of Outlook (I have version 16.64 of 2019 stand alone Outlook)

I appreciate the thought, Anderfo, but "right clicking" isn't normally an option on Macs, and the normally-similar Option Click does not produce that result. Perhaps that is a useful suggestion for Windows machines? I'm on a Mac myself, and right-clicking works well (I have a normal Logitech mouse attached). On the laptop (with a trackpad, no mouse) I do a two-finger tap to achieve the same. If you have a keyboard with a Ctrl button, you can also hold this button while clicking, to get to the same menu.

Thank you for posting your issue on Microsoft Community. There are several features that aren't yet available in the new Outlook experience and some known issues such as Mail and events can't be moved or copied between accounts. However, our product team is investigating this issue in the new Outlook for Mac. You may switch back by turning off the New Outlook switch to avoid this issue.

I'm on a Mac myself, and right-clicking works well (I have a normal Logitech mouse attached).

Nothing? Still? Is it that you don't want us to use the new Outlook or what is taking so long on such a menial function?

Did you copy and paste that or option click and drag it?
