Outlook 365 not opening in Windows 11

I noticed that Outlook did not open automatically in Windows 11 like it should when I rebooted, so I tried to start it manually. That didn't work either. Not even running "outlook /safe" worked.

Am I missing something here?

    This also worked for me. But in Windows 11 you will need to

    (1) get to APPS via the Control Panel as stated, click on "Installed apps",

    (2) then look for "Microsoft 365", and click on the three dots "..." to the right.

    (4) Now select "Modify"

    (5) then select "On Line repair"

    (6) wait for the repair to complete,

    The first time I tried to open Outlook after the repair I got an error message, when I tried again it worked.

    I currently having a problem with Outlook and Xfinity where I constantly get pop up wanting my password for imap.xfinity.net. I know my password is correct as it works on my Iphone and when I logon to email at Xfinity.com. I have allow third party email checked correctly on Xfinity website. I have done "repair" and other suggestions. Still can't receive email in Outlook

    No you are not missing something. This is an error in windows 11 with outlook and all these people continue to give advice on fixing the problem that just don't work.

    I run a small business and outlook is making it very hard on me to send emails to my customers.

    2 Windows 11 updates ago outlook worked they did another update a day later and now it's not working again.

    I'm going to have to transfer back to window10 so I won't have to deal with this

    Thank you for your reply. Outlook365 DOES WORK in Windows 11!

    Of course there will be hitches now and then but I am happy with mine

    and if I need help, I contact the help teams who always get me out of trouble!

    So, sorry, it is not ridiculous. I, like a lot of folk, have faith in the Microsoft teams

    and as far as I am concerned, it will remain that way!
