Outlook 365 not opening in Windows 11

I noticed that Outlook did not open automatically in Windows 11 like it should when I rebooted, so I tried to start it manually. That didn't work either. Not even running "outlook /safe" worked.

Am I missing something here?

    This assumes you have Microsoft 365:

    Open control panel. (search Control and click to open the control panel app)

    Open programs and features

    Scroll down to find "Microsoft 365 - en - us". Click it. Click Change.

    Click "yes" to "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?"

    Select Quick Repair. Click Repair.

    I went ahead and created a new profile and moved everything over to the new profile and reinstalled Office 365. All works now like it is supposed to.

    Thanks for all the comments. The problem/solution was actually a lot simpler than I thought. The problem was Outlook had not (completely) closed. I found the icon hidden in the System Tray on the right side of the Task Bar. Once I was able to completely close the program it opened right up. So the reason it wasn't opening was because it was still partially open or closed.

    Why can't I open my outlook intermittently it works often but at least once or twice a week it goes out for hours or even a day. I am tired of paying for something that doesn't work too often for me.

    I had a similar problem and was advised to reload MS Office.

    Just be careful that you don't lose your contacts in Outlook.with this.

    My Outlook 365 now works fine.
