On some inbound emails I am receiving a banner above the email text that says Connectors - placeholder. We have no idea what it is or why it's suddenly there starting this week. Some emails have it and some don't. Doesn't matter if they are internal company emails or external emails.
We've checked add-ins, social setting, etc and now been able to get this to go away. It does now show up on the web or mobile, and doesn't show up in Sent messages either.
Any way to get rid of this? It's super annoying and takes up unneeded space.

I'm having exactly the same problem but have noticed it's only emails from two specific email addresses.
Exact same problem. Started yesterday. Takes a really long time for these messages to finally load past the "connector placeholder" banner.

This started happening to me today as well in webmail, only on certain emails by people within my organization, not all of them. I can usually read the emails by opening a popout of the email, rather than trying to read it in the pane.
A couple of people in our organization are having the same issue. They are able to open the email once but then they got back and get the connectors-placeholder message and can no longer see the message. Seems to only be happening with emails internal to our org and not across the board.
