I've been running the Office aps for quite a while, and this just started happening. Shortly after I ope Outlook, I get a message saying "There was a problem with Microsoft Office and your recent work might be lost." I have tried restrating the computer and also re-installing Office. I'm running OS 10.13.6 (the latest version that my old computer will support).
The first part of the error report is:

What version of Outlook?
I am on 10.13.6, and Jim Gordon's fix above worked for me, allowing me to return to the latest supported version of Outlook. It isn't the current one, but at least Teams integration is there.
Can you confirm the version of Outlook you have running as well as Mac OS? 10.13.6 Mac OS is where the problem is, many machines are too old to update any further which conflicts with Outlook.
