I'm getting a few codes minute for the last hour or so.  I've checked to see if someone was accessing my account and there was no evidence of it.  I'm receiving texts from a handful of numbers and i don't want to block them in since i do need to get verification code from time to time, and the number i get the code from varies.

Hi BenjaminDau,

If you're receiving unsolicited verification codes, this means that someone is trying to login your account and unable to pass the verification process. Kindly see the suggestions provided in this article on how to keep your Microsoft account safe and secure.

I have also been getting unsolicited verification codes recently.  I have read a few articles about it, and when I got one just now I quickly checked the activity link, and what I saw was that five minutes prior there was an unsuccessful login (wrong password) and then a successful login, with additional verification requested, a few minutes later.  I never actually entered any code.  Here is the kicker -- the IP address for both is absolutely my IP address and it correctly identifies the location of the access as being my area - this is not coming from someplace else.  While my computer was on, I was not using it at the time.  There is no evidence that my account was affected.  What is going on???
