Does anyone know how to actually contact MS Security to engage them in back-tracing the criminals (yes, hackers are in fact criminals when they are trying to get into someone else's accounts) that are attempting to get into my hotmail account? As mentioned
in post yesterday, the 800 number doesn't get you to a human if it's about hotmail, outlook.com, etc. The chat-system does bring you to an icon to email MS, but the link is non-functional and no address is provided in plain-text or buried in the link.
In my specific case: No, my gmail alternate mail is not the same as my hotmail address; there's a relationship to me, but nothing a criminal would guess to jump from one to the other. Yes, I'm well aware of how to reset my password if I forget it which
won't happen anyway or at least hasn't happened. Some criminal is attempting to access my hotmail account, using the 'forgot password' stunt and trying to reset my password. I know this because a) I am not requesting password codes, and b) MS is sending
password reset codes to my gmail.
So, bad guys in action and no way to call the 'police' as in MS Security or reporting attempted fraud, etc.
Does anyone know how to get MS's attention?
Thanks,
Buddy
