Many unsolicited Microsoft verification codes.

I'm getting a few codes minute for the last hour or so.  I've checked to see if someone was accessing my account and there was no evidence of it.  I'm receiving texts from a handful of numbers and i don't want to block them in since i do need to get verification code from time to time, and the number i get the code from varies.

    I received a code last night and then this morning. Is someone actually trying to hack into my account or is there some sort of issue at Microsoft. After checking I can't see any unusual activity on my account.
