Many unsolicited Microsoft verification codes.

I'm getting a few codes minute for the last hour or so.  I've checked to see if someone was accessing my account and there was no evidence of it.  I'm receiving texts from a handful of numbers and i don't want to block them in since i do need to get verification code from time to time, and the number i get the code from varies.

    Hi I am getting these code for past few weeks, 7-15 codes a day. The frequency of this makes me doubt whether really someone is trying to hack into my accounts or it's just a glitch in Microsoft's system. Getting very annoyed with this. Please help me to resolve this.

    Apparently there was a “data leak” or so my most recent Microsoft communication tells me and all our accounts were compromised. If you have two factor authentication you will get the “code request” aimed at the hacker who was unable to pass verification. But it came to you instead.

    The solution is to change and strengthen your password. Which is really annoying.
