Account Locked through Violation of Microsoft terms

Hello

My accounts have all been blocked  through a violation of Microsoft terms.  This has been applied to skype, xbox, one drive, email and so on.

I have no idea how i have violated terms.  What I do know is that my samsung phone, said I must transfer my back ups to one drive as they were discontinuing their service.  I did transfer the back up and then the violation was reported to me by Microsoft.  I cannot find anyone to discuss this with.

I have filed using the below advice that continues to show whenever I try to login, as per this message.

The message I receive on my account is:

Your account has been locked

We’ve detected some activity that violates our Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account.

Unlocking your account

To unlock your account, you’ll need some additional assistance. Navigate to "aka.ms/compliancelock" and we’ll get you to the right place.

I have a reference number, but no way of following up.  can anyone advise?

    Same happened to me on Monday 2nd.  I'm having a Outlook, Onedrive premium and O365 personal linked. Many posts are there stating the issue happening this month. Backend issue??

    Hi Jude,

    I have had replies now from Microsoft.  It appears that after over 20 years of purchasing products from them and having a clean history.  I changed from Samsung Cloud to Microsoft onedrive as prompted by my phone, which then has backed up some whatsapp media

    • stuff sent to me and not what I would show my children either.

    This has been classed as a severe violation.  Perhaps in this day and age they should check the date stamp and sender details so that they can see who sent it and ban them instead.  I sent a reply but unfortunately I expect no answer and microsoft is too big to fight - little guy loses again.

    They're not going to unlock your account. They will tell you that it doesn't matter HOW the info got on your phone, just that it was on your phone and you then uploaded it to One Drive, thereby violating Microsoft's TOS. Ergo, they will tell you that your account is in violation and they "properly" locked your account and they will NOT give it back or unlock it. So you have just lost everything that they locked which sounds like your Xbox, One Drive, etc. Anything associated with your email and phone. LOTS of people are apparently going through this and have complained here. There are quite a few threads already existing here talking about the situation.

    this just happened to me and i just had to type the code the sent me via text and it unlocked my account

    I have to agree, I had a so called response after I asked for an escalation.  Simply, you are in violation and we will not bill you in future.  No reimbursement for existing funds on skype, xbox etc.   Very disappointed by their performance and lack of explanation.

    No assistance in finding out what was violated and how to avoid doing it again.  large company with a who cares attutude.
