Hello
My accounts have all been blocked through a violation of Microsoft terms. This has been applied to skype, xbox, one drive, email and so on.
I have no idea how i have violated terms. What I do know is that my samsung phone, said I must transfer my back ups to one drive as they were discontinuing their service. I did transfer the back up and then the violation was reported to me by Microsoft. I cannot find anyone to discuss this with.
I have filed using the below advice that continues to show whenever I try to login, as per this message.
The message I receive on my account is:
Your account has been locked
We’ve detected some activity that violates our Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account.
Unlocking your account
To unlock your account, you’ll need some additional assistance. Navigate to "aka.ms/compliancelock" and we’ll get you to the right place.
I have a reference number, but no way of following up. can anyone advise?

My husband has helped my create an account so I can post here. Me too. Account disabled for severe violation of agreements, no explanation of what. One reply from "CDOC2 that looks just like everybody else's template reply. Then they just stopped replying.
Our family has been using Microsoft products since the 80s. This approach to customers is outrageous.
They are Judge, Jury and Executioner, and you don't even have the right to know what you are being accused of.
If you have a family subscription, then it is collective punishment, as everyone has then lost everything!
How can companies like this get away with such behaviour?

Its been more than a month for me chasing them almost daily and no luck. Its amazing the lack of empathy from customer support. They behave like robots same the same generic paragraphs over and over again.
According to the article 15 of the GDPR you are on your right to download all the date stored by Microsoft. They have a month to answer that. Im taking legal action through the European Consumer Protection Agency and the Privacy Protection Agency in Ireland ( where MS HQ are located in the EU ).
Its very sad that after more than 30 years as a client ( in my case ) they treat us like that. Whats even better is that they charged me the Xbox game pass when the account was already blocked and I cant claim that money back.
The only explanation I have in my personal case that a weird video ended up on my OneDrive is that my whatsapp media folder was sync to my account (the app does it by default) and someone shared it in one of the many groups I have. Im 10000% sure I didnt share anything like they claim and I was not even aware of the content that they mention which I totally dislike and try to avoid as much as possible. I asked many times to tell me at least in what folder was the file located.
Hope we all find a solution to this nonsense. Im not going to give up.
Hi- how did you get on? More than 30,000 people have looked at this it seems to be a huge problem- after nearly 20 years my e mail has been blocked by Microsoft as has my one drive- I too am looking at court action. @DA: At this point I'm relatively sure this is being caused by bots, which apparently aren't working correctly. They must get kids straight out of school to write this stuff, because it looks like a beta version from CS105. I guess the grown-ups just ignore it.
Come on you guys. There has to be some kind of work-around for this issue.
