Account Locked through Violation of Microsoft terms

Hello

My accounts have all been blocked  through a violation of Microsoft terms.  This has been applied to skype, xbox, one drive, email and so on.

I have no idea how i have violated terms.  What I do know is that my samsung phone, said I must transfer my back ups to one drive as they were discontinuing their service.  I did transfer the back up and then the violation was reported to me by Microsoft.  I cannot find anyone to discuss this with.

I have filed using the below advice that continues to show whenever I try to login, as per this message.

The message I receive on my account is:

Your account has been locked

We’ve detected some activity that violates our Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account.

Unlocking your account

To unlock your account, you’ll need some additional assistance. Navigate to "aka.ms/compliancelock" and we’ll get you to the right place.

I have a reference number, but no way of following up.  can anyone advise?

    Hi Dude Finch,

    Mine was resolved after 3weeks.

    Better back up everything once u have access. Especially your "Vault" is not a safe safe once you don't have access.

    Has anyone taken them to court over this?  I'm considering small claims court here in the UK.  It costs around £200 to register a claim up to £5000 so I think that's what I'll be asking for in damages.

    Another victim here also.

    I was locked out of my MS account last Friday due to a 'Violation'. 

    I have been provided with no evidence to why my account has been locked.  All correspondence to any of the support teams ends without success and general frustration at not being able to get this resolved.

    My problem came about when I signed into my Samsung account which then synced with my OneDrive account.  I have checked my Samsung device and can find no evidence of a picture or video which could have violated the SA.

     I, like the majority of folk on here have been using Microsoft products for an age. 25 years+. 

    So now I can no longer access the following, which is linked to my subscription:

    • Azure platform.
    • Visual Studio subscription.
    • Microsoft certifications obtained over the years.

    This account is premium and my OneDrive account has a large amount of personal data stored.

    The files stored include.

    • Personal Business documentation.
    • Personal documentation including Financial and password documents.
    • Training documentation.
    • Personal Software.
    • Personal Development.
    • 15 years of Personal Photographs and Video media.

    I am going to pursue this until I get my personal data back.

    Based on the responses thus far, I am going down the legal route with this. 

    I see that that there have been a few 'successful unlocks' but just wondering at what other folks situations are at present with this completely unacceptable method performed by Microsoft..

    They've just locked me out as well straight after linking my Samsung account with Onedrive. What an absolute **** up on Samsung and Microsoft's part! I've lost all my Onedrive files, all my emails, my xbox account everything! And just get a generic response from MS saying I've breached terms, it's what happens when you replace common sense with algorithms. I'm going to tell this to everyone I know and get them to move away from MS products, working in IT I have a lot of influence in s/w procurement. As well as this I'm considering legal action.
