Hello
My accounts have all been blocked through a violation of Microsoft terms. This has been applied to skype, xbox, one drive, email and so on.
I have no idea how i have violated terms. What I do know is that my samsung phone, said I must transfer my back ups to one drive as they were discontinuing their service. I did transfer the back up and then the violation was reported to me by Microsoft. I cannot find anyone to discuss this with.
I have filed using the below advice that continues to show whenever I try to login, as per this message.
The message I receive on my account is:
Your account has been locked
We’ve detected some activity that violates our Microsoft Services Agreement and have locked your account.
Unlocking your account
To unlock your account, you’ll need some additional assistance. Navigate to "aka.ms/compliancelock" and we’ll get you to the right place.
I have a reference number, but no way of following up. can anyone advise?

Thats a robot talking to you. They dont even tell you which one of all the terms of service you "supposedly" violated.

This has happened to me ive looked at the things that violate the terms of service and I've done none of that stuff ive even watched what language i use still i cant get access to my account so don't give me any of this " im sorry" stuff i have used Microsoft's xbox since Christmas day 2019 i have not done anything that violates the terms of service I've checked my account history and none of the things that violates the terms of service are showing on my account if i used cuss words then I'd agree that i deserve a ban but i didn't so Microsoft has done this for no reason

Its been more than a month for me chasing them almost daily and no luck. Its amazing the lack of empathy from customer support. They behave like robots same the same generic paragraphs over and over again.
According to the article 15 of the GDPR you are on your right to download all the date stored by Microsoft. They have a month to answer that. Im taking legal action through the European Consumer Protection Agency and the Privacy Protection Agency in Ireland ( where MS HQ are located in the EU ).
Its very sad that after more than 30 years as a client ( in my case ) they treat us like that. Whats even better is that they charged me the Xbox game pass when the account was already blocked and I cant claim that money back.
The only explanation I have in my personal case that a weird video ended up on my OneDrive is that my whatsapp media folder was sync to my account (the app does it by default) and someone shared it in one of the many groups I have. Im 10000% sure I didnt share anything like they claim and I was not even aware of the content that they mention which I totally dislike and try to avoid as much as possible. I asked many times to tell me at least in what folder was the file located.
Hope we all find a solution to this nonsense. Im not going to give up.
I'm in the exact same situation.
At this point I don't want my account, but I want my Xbox account nback to at least migrate my friends, games In the new gamertag.
Because of this, I'm not buying the new Xbox at the end of year. I'm done with Microsoft, I had that account opened since 2001!!.
Lucky for me I manage to download from the old PC mails and sensitive information, but, I'm never buying Microsoft products again
It pains me the Xbox, but losing my game saves, everything because of the **** privacy policy is a total mess.
