Yeah, that does nothing to solve the problem. This happened to me 2 days ago as well. It seems that the bulk seem to be coming from the same domain with different email addresses attached to it. But not all. I have a feeling Microsoft has been hacked
as I made NO changes, and BAM! Hundreds of Phishing emails now every day to my inbox.
After several hours of going through settings (which was useless to help the problem), I started marking the emails for deletion and hit the "sweep" option and marked to send to "trash" now and in the future. This seemed to set a new "rule" and took most
of them out in one click. Still, very NOT INTUITIVE, and I'm not sure if this will work long-term. Actually, I should just sit and watch my Inbox for 10 minutes and see if 15 emails show up as they have been. Then I'll know.
Good luck to everybody. Without the "Exclusive" setting, this is a bit of a joke. I'll be going to a new email service tomorrow if this continues. It's driving me crazy!
