Just started getting Russian women and male body part emails in my inbox. I used to have exclusive setting checked. Where in the heck did that go??? I see that in 2013 lots of people had issues with unwanted spam in their inboxes. They were told to set exclusive settting. I really wish Microsoft would quit pushing me to go to gmail!

blocking will remove the entry and put it on the blocked list, but unless things have changed (they did make some changes to the subscription feature a few weeks ago), deleting from the blocked list adds it back the subscriptions. :(
Yep. Microsoft forums replies go to "junk". Even when actually hear from them, they block their own.
My issue seems to have swung to the other side now. I get 40-50 of my emails within the hour going to SPAM, even those that I have in my safe sender list. So first, nothing was going to spam and now everything is. Both are similarly painful. Can we just fix it without the extremes? For heaven's sake, they send my USPS notifications to junk mail. My alarm alerts are going to junk mail, and every other site I am on. grrrr
Do you have exclusive filtering on? Did you set up any rules during the period the filter failed?
Woah! Diane you ARE correct. I was about to reply to the contrary, but took a second look just now.
That is not only interesting but disappointing.
When I did the steps I mentioned above, I had also gone back to Subscriptions and it was gone (even after removing from blocked).
But like I said just now, taking that second look before posting this reply, I see it is now back.
It's interesting/disappointing because I would've expected that any entry in "Subscriptions" would occur by any NEW mail that did NOT go straight to junk.
In other words, that one entry I can see being added to Subscriptions when it managed to sneak by the failed filters.
My expectation would have been that once I moved it to junk (ideally it would've been removed from Subscriptions too by this task), then by removing it from Subscriptions and from Blocked, no entry would be added back unless that spam made it past the filters in a NEW email.
It's looking like when the Subscription entry is "blocked", the entry still exists on the back end, but just not made visible. Making it blocked puts the entry in Blocked and "if entry is in Blocked, then entry in Subscription is hidden" (aka, not removed).
Yup, I just did those steps again and the same thing (which included "Save", which I didn't mention).
It was only when I left Settings then went back in did it show again.
Exactly. This is a virus for sure or a hacker. MS please do something!!
