What the heck happend to the EXCLUSIVE setting in Outlook - I'm getting Russian **** in my inbox!

So ironic, right.  They are even blocking their own traffic.

Marshalls is in my safe senders, but every item I receive now goes into junk mail.  It is like they said *** it, let just send it all to spam.

There is a thread on here about the "subscriptions" section of your email. So I went and looked at my "subscriptions" and low and behold yep. Some hacker has added a bunch of malicious subscriptions that I did not sign up for and I cant remove it. 

Go check your subscriptions on your email. Under settings. I bet you have the same issue. All of us do I bet.

I just took a look and saw an entry for the bgreatconsulting.com spam.

Though I'd like to know if that was an effect AFTER the filter bypass failure.

Because I know I NEVER put ANY entry in subscriptions, yet there are some for valid companies.

And for anyone else thinking of doing it, do NOT click on unsubscribe for the spam stuff.

You'll likely open up a whole can of worms by doing so, depending on how Microsoft implements the "unsubscribe" and how the spammer implemented it as well.

It was not a hacker. It s a feature from Microsoft - the process runs after junk filtering, but because the junk landed in the inbox, any mail with unsub links in it was added to the list. 

DO NOT attempt to unsubscribe. Ignore the list.

I figure you can at least block though.

I would hope/expect that Microsoft would not do anything about "unsubscribing" if you click on the ellipsis (...) -> "Block senders", which would in turn remove the entry under Subscriptions and create an entry under "Junk email" -> "Blocked senders and domains", at which point you can also delete that entry since, like I mentioned previously, it all began with the junk bypassing the failed filter.
