Just started getting Russian women and male body part emails in my inbox.  I used to have exclusive setting checked.  Where in the heck did that go???  I see that in 2013 lots of people had issues with unwanted spam in their inboxes.  They were told to set exclusive settting.  I really wish Microsoft would quit pushing me to go to gmail!

I just posted on their Facebook page. Just a suggestion. Thousands are having the issue with junk going into their inbox.

AS of yesterday all junk is coming into my email. Outlook must stop all emails with the domain vertical-aff.com.  At my wits end. Hundreds in a day pouring into my inbox. This has never happened. Needs to be fixed or I will just us another email service. So frustrated. All my settings are correct.

This is also happening to me. I have had at least 50 spam emails on Saturday alone and they just keep coming. No setting changes

Another person here that also had their filters stop working yesterday.  Made no changes to my settings and now have 100+ junk mails in my inbox.  It appears that most of them are from a vertical-aff.com and also included a red balloon along with random characters.  I saw a post that suggested that if you're getting lots of junk mail from just a single domain that you can add them to your safe list, then create a rule that will delete everything from that domain.  Sounds completely counter intuitive, but the rules won't run on emails that "goto" your junk folder.  I haven't gotten a junk mail for the last 15min, (I was getting a ton every couple of min) so hopefully that will keep my inbox clean for now.

same exact problem tons of spam junk coming right into the inbox- ALL BLOCKED AND ALL THE RULES SET UP TO DELETE nothing is working, outlook has be compromised, hacked . 2 days now nothing stops the spam every 5 minutes same cannot block them or rules don't work .. I PAY MONEY FOR THIS SERVICE... GMAIL NOW ANOTHER SPAM JUST CAME INBOX EVERY 5 MINUTES. 10 more junk spam emails came right to the INBOX - blocked and rules all set up and nothing stops them.... outlook has been hacked this dates back to Nov 2019 and still is on going with NO SOLUTIONS!

This happened to me 2 days ago as well.  It seems that the bulk seem to be coming from the same domain with different email addresses attached to it.  But not all.  I have a feeling Microsoft has been hacked as I made NO changes, and BAM! Hundreds of Phishing emails now every day to my inbox.

After several hours of going through settings (which was useless to help the problem), I started marking the emails for deletion and hit the "sweep" option and marked to send to "trash" now and in the future.  This seemed to set a new "rule" and took most of them out in one click.  Still, very NOT INTUITIVE, and I'm not sure if this will work long-term.  Actually, I should just sit and watch my Inbox for 10 minutes and see if 15 emails show up as they have been.  Then I'll know.

Good luck to everybody.  Without the "Exclusive" setting, this is a bit of a joke.  I'll be going to a new email service tomorrow if this continues.  It's driving me crazy!
