When I open MS to Do app and open whether it is an email flagged or a task from my planner in teams when I try to open it, it opens in the web-based instead of the desktop. Am I missing a connector to my desktop or something?

can this please happen? It is incredibly annoying to switch between these formats.
I had the "randomly erased attachments" problem as well. It's fixed now, Microsoft blamed the problem on an Add-In. (I want to say hubspot, but I can't remember).
2 years later and this issue still exists.
I know! Such a simple and useful upgrade. Why is it taking so long Microsoft?
Even some feedback as to whether this is in the pipeline or not would be welcome….
